The Lock Socket® phone charger lock came about like most other inventions – through necessity. You see, in my household, Apple products are the norm and searching for phone chargers was always something of a problem. Fair to say, it was many years of frustration and wasted time spent looking for charging blocks and cables that led me to this undertaking.
When my quest for a phone charger lock began, there was nothing on the market that satisfied my needs. My choice has always been to use factory or OEM chargers and there was no simple solution available. So I decided to design one myself, starting with a crude product which was scanned and then made into a 3-D model. Somewhat surprisingly, I ended up selling a few hundred online and that really got my mind turning.
Over the last couple of years, my original Apple charger lock design has been refined multiple times, with each iteration leading to the perfect charger lock solution. Today, we feature multiple solutions that can be used on various OEM charging blocks for both Apple and Samsung products.
